What brought you to SPENGA? What's your favorite part?
I saw the first ads for SPENGA on Facebook, and they immediately sparked my interest. I wanted something that could be fairly regular and intense. Seeing the opportunity to focus on cardio, strength, and flexibility, this looked ideal for me.
What has your fitness journey looked like?
Over three months, I have lost about 25 pounds, gained muscle, and grown in flexibility. I truthfully feel like I am 10 years younger. In addition, I have gained some new friends.
What keeps you motivated? What are your goals?
I want to milk the most out of this one life given me by God. I do not want to feel bloated and brittle. I am thankful for my first three months and the progress I have made. I still would like to build more muscle, lose some extra weight, and become even more flexible. I just want to be the best 52-year-old-me that I can be.
What words of encouragement would you give to someone just starting out?
I would encourage people to come give it a try. Men, you need to know this will "kick your butt." I leave every day having reached my limit, and I am fairly aggressive. For those just starting out, there are quite a few newbies who are where you are at. Come join the journey and the crew.
